Thanks for the update. It should be a little more dry in a couple/few weeks. I wonder if there's a good way to go around the road closers. Either ride through them or find an ALT route.

Roads are marked closed on both ends of at least the one by the lake. Looks like oil and gas have that all shut down.

The one with the big down tree a bike could probably get through by going into the woods. Looked pretty over grown.

Riding most of the OAT my self... i would never dream of riding the trail on a sport bike....

There are many parts that would be hard to ride down in 4 wheel vehicle, or a two wheeler... that is the point...

It appears the gpx track in the first post hasn't been updated in awhile. Anyone know if that is indeed still the most current track for the OAT?

I think it is, however many of the old bridges in the southwest are closed off, I mean they were still there but blocked pretty well. I had a paper copy I was marking that got rained on and I lost my notes but for the most part it is passable. Pretty much all of the eastern is good except the river crossings are always suspect. They were passable for my friend and one week later were deeper than my bike, with the rain I would bypass right now.

We just did all of the eastern side from Heavener, Oklahoma down to Broken bow lake. It was a good time.

We just did eastern side as well.. from Broken Bow to Heavener... one section was closed off so we picked it back up from Three Sticks Monument in Hodgen, OK... Very rocky section for several miles...

Was the closed section part of the K-Trail?
Did you ride east or west from Three Sticks?

We rode East from Three Sticks.. The section before Three Sticks was gated. I’m not sure exactly where we ran into the gated section but it wasn’t long after we left 259 around Octavia... So, we headed back to 259 and hit the OAT headed East at Three Sticks... Got into some really rocky terrain...

Is there long sections of the eastern side that require 60mph plus? Just got a little TW200, got two motors to convert it into a TW225 6spd one day, but not anywhere near there yet.

No. Some 4 lane highway between I-40 and the Arkansas river to cross the river but TW200 can get through that ok.

My grandkids have a TW200, that thing is fun in rough stuff, 225 motor should make it even more so.

Anybody know the nearest/best place to pick up the OAT from OKC? Preferably eastern OKC! I'll be riding a 690.
    Thx
