We hope our friend Bedoqstar will have some nice report to share with us in this forum.
Adventure riding paradise!
One of the place we went...
Some nice pictures there Khaitronic, Malaysia certainly is good for Adv riding.
Great stuff Capt
Our Indonesian and Indian friends certainly proof that
One can have an Adventure on any size bike---- Cannot agree more
Our recent Recce trip into Denmark Norway and Sweden on Honda Kap Chai
Norway was awesome and the Honda didn't miss a beat
More pictures please . . .
MANTAP SURANTAP.........I Like'it...........
I believe this is the time when we say that : Size Doesn't Matter"... hahahahahaha..
Whatever you ride, wherever you go, the main thing is how enjoy you got!
Because, if it's not fun, it ain't adventure!
I must admit sometimes I do wish for a bigger bike especially when I always over packed ... Heck so far away from home better try to bring as much as possible ...... Milo , Maggie Mee .... Camping chair and table ....... Changkul .....Semua ada
Especially when home for the next 45 days is like this ...... Norway and Sweden have very liberal camping laws Follow a few simple rules and you can almost camp anywhere
But the all the BIG and FAST bikes craving is soon forgotten when we get stunning sceneries like this ...
Norway also has one of the highest speeding fines in the world
20 kms over speed limit is about 500 euros :eek1
But roads like this ahh .... make me wish that I am riding on my Motard
los lobos, when will you be back?
lostlobos, you can never be to small, in the summer of 1982 I did 3300km around Sumatra on a Honda C90, all i could afford at the time, but also at that time the best bike for the job, lots of mud, deep mud, anything else would just get stuck, took me six weeks and I had a great time.
You get there in the end, and tend to meet more people on the way.
Here's my recent venture into the wilderness;
On my trip to one of a remote and recently connected by buffalo tracks
On our way to Marudi Town, Sarawak.
It's raining heavily all the way.
Mud & slut, you got to have the right tires & enduro front fender.
Wild orchids by the track.
Nice Ride RR and Scooter
Now I'm back to reality. Hard at work trying to earn some money for next years adventure ( Reality suck's )
Love to ride with your Scooligans one day sounds like a fun group . I have a Honda Helix scooter hope that's fast enuf to keep up
WOW Dean That must have been an EPIC adventure ...... Sumatra in 1982 WOW :eek1 :eek1
This is the last stretch of unpaved road from Tawau to Keningau via Kalabakan road.
Dust, dust, dust,..........
After eating & breathing dust, here is the reward; Meliau Basin, one of the best national parks- varities of flora & fauna.
The landmarks in case you want to stop over.
Hi folks, what is the most visited forum by malaysian bikers? let me know coz you guys had lot of cool bikes
salam dari tetangga
I did the ride from Keningau to Tawau last year. A very enjoyable ride.
Thanks for the photos and for bringing back good memories.
Yup, that stretch of road is soon sealed & could cut travelling time from Tawau to KK.
BTW Petermac; are you the one riding KTM650 Adventure?
Looked like it was being prepared for sealing. Will make it a great tar ride from KK to other side of island. Sabah sure has a great combination of tar and gravel roads. I rode an Aprilia Pegaso.
Try Malaysian Bikers Community (mixture of small & big bores) & Superbikers Malaysia (only big bores).
Hope that's helpful.
Hi all Malaysian inmates!
Gald to find fellow countrymen in here.
I am currently waiting for my Lava Orange BMW F800 GS (wanted the gray scale but no longer in production)
Thought of getting the "ADV" stickers and mini flags.
If anyone else are interested to get it, might as well we buy together with 1 shipment.
Any takers let me know
