diver getting ready to descend into the miry abiss. He had to work in zero vis in a concrete room 2 levels under the water. You couldnt pay me enough to do it!

The whirlpool to the left of the bank is where the diver was heading!

We hoped he didn't end up exiting via the back door

The condition of the road is probably more little bike friendly than big bike. I'm very glad I got the Tigers front end sorted a few months back!

OK, I cheated and took the car. Straight after work this morning. Yes I'm working all weekend...even now.

Should have shrunk them a bit.

Yeah, my poor little Mazda 6 didn't like the track up there much. Might need a wheel alignment now after all those corrugations. :lol3

Well, that's cool...I did everything right, perhaps I wasn't holding my tongue properly...

yep the link worked fine. Tad foggy up there and the windmills are crankin so guess it was windy as well. How'd the weefiddy handle the 4WD bogs?

It wasn't actually windy - a bit damp at times.

The WR handled it no worries - even on it's current rubber. It's taken me a while to learn that little bikes can pretty much go anywhere...only been 20 years or so without one...

Plenty of water in the puddles, some of the "wallows" worse than I've seen (last time I went through was a year or 2 ago on a pushie), nearly got stuck in one deep mud section (went through as the water looked too deep) but raw grunt got me through...

Took my V-strom through a couple of times but no, the Tenere is never going through there (even though it'd probably handle it better than the Vee).

Will blog at some stage. There is plenty of video although rain/water stuffed up some of the footage of the gnarly bits :(

Saturday or Sunday. Both days look equally good. Post up some meet details. I'm likely to bring the chair - just because. Worked out okay last time. Anyone (lightish) wanna act as Monkey?
