I'm in Dannevirke. My bike is currently broken but I'll give you a yell when I get it back together.
Umm yes and no. It’s not falling apart.... but yes the ingress of water does create interesting moments. Among others; seized rear master cylinder (replaced) rear calliper (unsiezed with a big hammer) rebuilt ignition switch, and on Saturday a partially operating tail light (sealed unit, only obtainable from CSC in USA or directly from China)
Copper slip is definitely my friend!
mate, sounds to me like you'd be better off with a box of this stuff
Interestingly it seems totally impervious when being ridden it’s just being left parked in the elements for a whole year didn’t provide the start in life most hoped for I think.
One of the reasons I left Auckland and headed south is I’m not built for the race with the Jones. I like a bargain and see no value in being able to spend more than someone else. I like that my bike is cheap and cheerful if I won lotto I wouldn’t sell it, or move or quit my job. I know that’s anti consumerism. I don’t care.
If I drop my bike I can pick it up. If it breaks I can fix it, eventually..... when I ride it I smile, and relax and stop being such a pedantic dick.... oops sorry!
Starting to get some insight into the no mates thing..... are they doing a special on sealant at Mitre10?
Nice day today: https://banditrider.blogspot.com/2019/10/sunshine.html
Blowing a gale at the top of Pori Rd this arvo.
More sheltered through Puketoi Rd
How is Puketoi Road these days?
There's been a few slips in the rougher parts but someone has been in with a tracked vehicle and tidied things up. I assume from the sign that it wasn't the council.
Took my bride out to hunt down a cafe we hadn't been too. Found the Woolshed outside Sanson. Great coffee but lawns needed a better Moa
