Out riding with a mate new to riding on his spanking new 390 today. A pretty good first bike choice IMO. Lot of fruit on them for around $10K

Great day for a quick 'fly' out to Mangawheka before the weather turns to custard for the next couple of days

Hadn't paid too much attention to the old bird before, but looks like she's had a wing clipped :scratch

Yeah, I noticed that a while back. I wonder if she's on the move?

We have heard that, according to NZTA, it is 1 or 2m's too close to the road and has to be moved back from the hiway....

They have replaced the old fuel tanks at the garage, so expect to see the forecourt reopening soon. Mangaweka will be the refuel and recharge centre to visit... if not for much else.

Another trip into the Akatarawa's. Great to ride a bike after hacking up me lungs for the last 3 weeks.

    It goes fairly well ;)

Motor is great, grunt available anytime. Brakes and suspension good. Probably close to 20kg lighter than the WR and it feels it.

I thought it was going to be a handful but real easy to ride. It loves charging up bumpy hills :)

Nice, one for all the current "brands" in the shed...

Ha! A man with a man bun before man buns were a thing!! Ahead of his time.
    But, nope, don't remember them.
I was listening to Kraftwerk on spotify when I was clearing some space in the shed at the weekend. That's probably close enough

@Muzz67 nice try but single colours only in the title please :deal

That looked like fun. Bike sounds quite relaxed but grunty at the same time. You might want tilt your helmet cam up a bit though, it looked like you were staring at the ground under your front wheel...or was that just cos you were going downhill?

Yeah, it's tricky to get it just right. You need it higher than you think. Plus, I must have smacked it at some stage - it was way down at the end of the vid.

My first ever ride down Foxton Beach this morning. I think I may have found a new favourite riding area.

That triple sounds glorious Marty. Sounded like you were enjoying all 800cc. Also good to see why it's worth riding in the rain sometimes. That's a lot of water. Still not allowed to use our garden hoses up here!
