Or you go to turn a corner and there's no traction, next thing I'm kissing a tree
You're supposed to only hug them. Anything more and it starts getting a bit weird...
I no, rite
Not long back from today's ride so I thought I better post up last week's ride: https://banditrider.blogspot.com/2020/11/waihi-falls-with-war.html

Nice day for a ride.
Slightly nicer day than when we went through a coupla weeks ago...
It was brilliant riding weather today - not too hot and no wind!
Yesterday's adventure: https://banditrider.blogspot.com/2020/11/herbertville-trail-ride.html
298.7 klm ride this morning. Ended up in Tinui at a great wee cafe. Apart from high winds latter in the morning a great day was had by all...err both of us
Sunday's shenanigan's: https://banditrider.blogspot.com/2020/12/mousescapades.html
so went for a ride over the Gentle Annie and back home this morning. 453klm in total
Started of at the trusty Z at 7am Down on Main Street....Down on Maaain Stree eeet (Gotta love Bob the Segar!)
Went to Taihape via Mangaweka and stopped at Kimbolton lookout cos the view was stunning
Then off to Taihape and the Gentle Annie. Been a year since I was there last ...which is too long. You forget how aweome that road is...especially with no traffic on it!
First look at the Bay from the top of the Hill
Stopped off at my old stomping ground (Havelock North) for some lunch. They obviously don't mind parking ya bike on the village lawn as the only sod off signs were for bicycles and skateboards
I was quickly reminded of one of the reasons we left the Bay when I got to Havelock...The heat! I must be acclimatized to Palmy's weather now cos it was sweltering
Must have been close to 30c at 11.30am. I was down to a tee shirt and my Klim Traverse with all the vents open and I was still hot....meh you can have it! It's not even the hot period yet!!!!!
Still the locals don't seem to mind.... I caught a shot of this old bloke wearing a hat and full thermal suit ....he did have his windows down though
Of note: I must have had 10 cars flash their lights at me on the main highway home, and spoted 4 cop cars - There were zero on the Gentle Annie. So they're out in force on the highways but not the Byways it seems.
Nice, I did a massive 150km with some of the guys from work...
that's hardly even a stroll up the road on your's and Collins usual outings Andy! 450 k's and I'm toast and will be for a few days...worth it though
Everyone should have some alone time with their bike at this time of year! aint she purdy
did 600km yesty. no cops all day until back in taranaki.
4 cars in the last 50km and a booze bus.
I managed 40km today...a lot of it was vertical...
