Rode the Xalp down from Sacramento on Thursday and back on Monday. Took 50 > 89 > 88 > 395 > 190 and vice versa. A bit cold, but the roads were clear, traffic light, and the views spectacular. Not too windy, either.

Met some nice folk at the campsite (Joel/H8Chains, et al). Thanks for the box of firewood, btw.

Went horizontal a few times (ok, 4 times); a little bodywork damage. Time to source some '90's vintage Honda plastic.

Thanks for initiating this. I'll be back next year, and hope to see y'all at WMRS IV if not sooner.

You guys from nocal put some serious miles on your bikes :bow and dealt with the elements like a true adventurer.

I know, we socalers are just a bunch of wuss for trailering and trucking our bikes , really pretty much due to our laid back attitude :jkam.

I think our timing was perfect. The snow is gone, and the weather is not too hot. My only wish was I should have ridden a little slower and enjoy the view. I spent most of my time hauling ass just trying to keep up with the FFs. Luv2Race's rule was keep it under 90!

Anyway, it was a fun weekend and great opportunity to meet all of you guys and a gal (Cindy).
