Great news , thanks. Just had a look at some of my old threads. Noticing all the bad grammar and spelling.

Righto, I've booked my ferry tickets down on Friday night 15 June, back Monday 18 June, so what is there to ride on the Sat/Sunday that is not extreme for this old fart from north of the strait?

Coming to ride with @KiwiPewe if he can get is act together - what did you do to your thumb mate?

Port Underwood Rd? Maungatapu track, maybe. Mt Patriarch probably has snow on it.

Not quite sure, developed from a sprain to unusable within a few days, concrete pills no worky.:(

Another option, as discussed earlier, would be french pass.
Maungatapu, although one of my favorites, might be tad rough for your bike

It is, you can ride around to the light house even at low tide now, just a stretch of deep sand to deal with.
    Speed is your friend !

@KiwiPewe and I did the Port Underwood road yesterday. Nice ride. Had to work with the big boy, but after we adjusted the rebound on my front forks I could ride much easier. Still couldn't keep up with @KiwiPewe on his 100 kg lighter blaster

That's old age, by the way. Rest up.

I woke up feeling crook again. Will probably
Still go later. I just need a ride, even if it's a short one.

my weekend is over, dang :dirtdog

But had a great time today. Rode out towards Titirangi Farm Park but turned left at the signs and rode to Manaroa. was a fun ride back. Heading out the roads were wet and slippery, drier coming back.

Then @KiwiPewe helped me complete the Camel auxiliary fuel tank installation on the big boy.

Pics, jetty at Manaroa and @KiwiPewe working his magic

Oh, we have somehow fallen of the first page. Does anyone here know if Altimarloch is accessible at the moment" I vaguely recall reading somewhere that it's DOC that controls the access.
