Just lift ya e bike over the gate
He's riding a R1150 GS....
Maybe. Maybe not. He bought a e- bike. Probably faster uphill than the 1150hs
Locals know how to open a gate, it's the South Aucklanders who would try to lift their bike over a gate. Are you coming on a ride, or do you just like reading about it? ;-)
does the ride go to Starbucks?
No, but there is a MacDonalds up there.
Coming over to check it out , Dave?
no, I was just wondering how soft your rides were
I do recall you turning down a few tracks that @Kokopelli went up...
yeah, on the big fella, I was being soft. You didn't take me to MacD's...
Next time we'll take you through the knarly stuff so you earn the McD....
Like the ridgeline over port Underwood....
I went up there last summer and once I had found the gate in, I just plodded up the hill. Went past some forestry clearing and then carried on climbing. Didn't see a soul while I was in there. No signs about permissions etc. The views and alpine plants are great up there. At 1700m it pays to keep an eye on the weather.
Still logging there, I worked in the vineyard below it today.
Altimarloch is still waiting
Out "riding" with @KiwiPewe getting a bit bored of waiting every crossing
Don't worry Dave, next time you're down here you can show us how it's done
Good ride up the Omaka river today.
you can have that, at my age I have enough sense, just, to not attempt that. Instead I get to be that annoying twat who laughs at you...
