If you cancelled a room at the Marlinton Motor Inn you might wanna check your credit card statement. I was charged even after giving more than 48 hours notice. I have emailed my Verizon statement that shows I called to the manager. The person that took my cancellation didn't process the cancellation. We'll see what happens.

    Forgot to share...
Banshee and I headed home on 39. we rolled up on a bike spill three or four twiststs past rt39 & rt 220 heading east. Metric cruiser rider and passenger wearing protective shorts and tee shirts decided to open a strawberry farm on the side of the road. they redesigned their shins, knees ,elbows and hands a bit. Btw, no gloves either. they were walking around ,limping some. EMT and po po on the scene. Hope they heal well and learn a little.

ugh! We saw a lot of people in protective shorts and tee shirts on the way home too, no spills.

    certainly hope they learn!

When I first started riding, I ran out in the garage right after Laconic had made it home from work in shorts and jumped on his bike while he was taking his helmet off. Next thing I knew, I had quite a burn on my thigh!

    ugh!

1965 A new Triumph trophy scrambler parks next to us....I am eyeing it with lust in my heart and my mother and grandmother are both admonishing, do not touch that it is very hot....but that shiny chrome plate was calling me on those high pipes. I touched it. Proof has been with me since. Can see it in my minds eye like it was yesterday. What can I say, I was 16 and they felt it was safe to take away my hockey helmet in public.

But did they at least clear the last cow pie? "The triple slip" can be a fickle thing if your not one of the ones in the know. Only the elite possess this level of enlightenment.

    Just say'n
