Just watched victor in Formula Regional America's (I think) championship, recently from VIR, it looks like Victor was racing this week or quite recently?

Yep. It's a very short series. The next race is on the 25th but I'm not sure if he's racing. It's literally a race-to-race decision. He's third in the driver standing behind Linus Lundqvist, a very talented driver from Sweden and David Malukas, a driver that Victor helped to coach.

Victor had a good weekend at Sebring. A 3rd and 2 x 2nd place finishes.

The boy is still racing...headed to Europe to drive for an Italian team, Oregon Team!

OREGON TEAM HEADS TO BARCELONA AS VICTOR FRANZONI IS SET TO MAKE HIS DEBUT

Oregon Team heads to BarcelonaMontmeló this coming weekend for the third of five Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe rounds. After having seized the first podium of the season one month ago at the Nürburgring with the Pro duo Dorian Boccolacci and Kevin Gilardoni – who were able to finish second in race two – the Italian squad aims again to the top spots.

In the highest class Boccolacci and Gilardoni are sixth in the drivers’ standings, 19 points behind championship leaders Raul Guzman and Milos Pavlović, but still in full contention for a thrilling finale. The French and Italian/Swiss pair started with a fourth position in the inaugural race at Misano, both making their debut in the series, and showed a progressive improvement.

Different story in the Pro-Am class, where Lorenzo Bontempelli will be paired with newcomer Brazilian Victor Franzoni, who replaces Damiano Fioravanti. The 25-year-old racing driver from Saõ Paulo, who is the 2017 Pro Mazda champion, with several experiences in single seater – included the Indy Lights, where he was a race winner at Road America two years ago – and then in the IMSA, is set to make his series’ debut.

Official test kick-off the entire event tomorrow. Free practice sessions are scheduled on Friday. Qualifying one and two will start on Saturday at 10:45. The first of two 50-minute races, with rolling start and the mandatory pit-stop, will commence at 14:45. Race two is scheduled on Sunday at 10:50, live streamed on Lamborghini Squadra Corse Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The team that Victor joined won both of their classes today!

Seems it was rainy and trust me, Victor, like most Brazilians, just seem to drive better in the rain than the other drivers.

It was a double celebration for Oregon Team as Victor Franzoni da Silva and Lorenzo Bontempelli claimed honours in the Pro-Am class. Pro-Am points leaders Andrzej Lewandowski and Karol Basz (VS Racing) also had a race to forget. Such were the conditions of the track, Lewandowski spun on his way to the grid at Turn 5, while Basz received a drivethrough penalty for speeding in the pitlane following the mandatory stops.

Victor and his teammate seems to have finished 2nd today. From a translated post:

That enthusiasm also contributed to by the excellent weekend of the unprecedented Pro-Am crew formed by the "new entry" Victor Franzoni and Lorenzo Bontempelli. The Brazilian was the fastest in his class in the first qualifying session on Saturday morning. Then, both he and his team-mate made two impeccable stints, thus going to collect the victory. A victory which was followed by the second place scored in a Race 2 all comeback, with Bontempelli who climbed for the fourth time on the podium out of a total of six races, also taking second in the standings of the same class.
