    An ex of mine in Berlin now with her family was bass I’m drum and bass driving the line of the tune, she started out with cello and then went full double bass, and as electric bass was entry into Suzie Q the fates cast.
    I do have a question though about the style that you play, there is no wrong answer but do you pluck or are plectrums harmed?
    She has a couple of cello and a really nice double bass and keeps collecting electric bass guitars.

    There is a pick in my fingers...

    No I usually play fingers mainly because I do a lot of slap and tapping.

    I wasn’t trying to be critical, just asking because there are many ways and different styles that suit different tunes :-)

    Sioux is mostly different finger styles, some banjo picking style that freaks people out, but a plectrum or a horse tail bow works as well :-)
