Wow - GREAT photos! It looks like everybody had a fun time and enjoyed sone beautiful scenery. Wish I could have gone, but I'll make it back there some day. Maybe Geezer Jack will have time to ride back there with me and AKCharlie after he gets his KLR fixed and my doctor fixes me. It would be nice to ride back there when the fall colors are out.

I had dinner with the Debonair Geezer Jack tonight and he pointed out that I hadn't noticed he shaved his moustache, and I neglected to notice that a couple of weeks ago when we had dinner with the Kodiak guys. Sheesh - maybe AKBeemer is right and there is something wrong with my vision. :huh Now the Debonair Geezer looks a minimum of at least 5 years younger, like he's only 55 or 56. Now my vision sees him as a Distinctly Dapper AND Debonair Geezer and his main squeeze Maggie better watch out! The younger women in Glennallen may start vying for Jack's attention.

    :rofl :rofl

You better cut back on the meds. There is nothing wrong with my KLR and hasn't been anything wrong with it.:ddog:ddog:ddog

    Hey Charlie,

I was referring to Jack's KLR, which needs a little TLC, not yours. But you and I had talked about riding to McCarthy so I included you in the potential list of riders. Guess I didn't phrase that very well. But rest assured, I have a special t-shirt to wear whenever you and I go for a ride. :D

Not sleeping it is the driver that was snoozing while the bike did a 'tommy tipover' and of course a camera was the first item to arrive (smile)

Ridden orange before. Been there and liked it :thumb Going back for more !

What a horrible trick the HP2 air shock has turned out to be. I think the rear shock on this little thumper though is to keep my teeth from completely rattling out. Some of those little 640's will bounce their way right across the garage floor at idle.

Air shocks suck IMHO. Bicycles, sleds, cars, motorcycles, they just don't last.

Hey, Legion, ain't you the guy that keeps tellin' us that you gonna 'thin out the herd'? :lol3
I don't think you liked working on it. They can sometimes be a PIA.
But I don't think you will have this problem on the newer LC4. like my '96 LC4 did.
I kept eyeballin' them 950 V-twins but this & other some things kind of turned me off to KTMs.

The guy that runs this place is kind of a flake.

I did ! Trimmed down from 10 bikes to 5. This is a good thing.

Hold on to your license boys. We're going in deep. :lol3

They don't really hook up, either. The rear always feels like it's not quite getting ahold of anything. High speed gravel washboard pothole stuff is where the HP2 should shine but it's pretty vague out back.
