I’m not an expert on European culture. But we invited some friends over and I had an AFT race on, he asked how I got a Polish feed. Of course, I was confused. He said the only time he ever saw flat track racing was when he was stationed in Poland, and it was a big deal there

It offsets the drag of the gopro.

You wouldn't want to do that on canam that breathed around the steering head!

Same direction as horse track racing, where motorcycle racing started.

Turn left, and repeat, four corners.

Our last race weekend of 2021 is on the 7-8th, so you might plan to swing by Tanacross on your way around the loop.

As for fuel, I can only speak to the right side of the loop: from Palmer you could fuel at Eureka lodge (before 8pm and not on Tuesday), Glennallen, Posty’s in Chistochina, then Tok.

Hey Steve heard you guys had a massive 8 point earthquake in Kodiak and a Tsunami warning. Is that anywhere near you although I know you live a fair way from the sea.

The quake was midway down on the Alaska peninsula or "chain". Pretty remote and scarcely populated. We never felt a thing at home.
There were minimal reports of damage and no tsunami. Kind of strange for such a strong quake.

lateral slips don't displace the water... its the vertical movement that does that. and yeah, the Kenai was under a tsunami watch but not farther north

Good thing I didn’t start the Greeves thread, I wound up making a trade.

    these two

and a Norton Commando in pieces.

Steve…. I think you know who has the Greeves now :lol3

So I listed all my bikes for sale, and now have the same number of bikes… I’m bad at this

I'm a little bittersweet on it personally... I was really looking forward to that thread!

I am too, to be honest. I had the Triumph listed, and got the inquiry there. We got to talking and the Greeves came up. I’m sure it’s in good hands, and the new owner is a friend of Steve’s too. So we can keep tabs on it.

Eww... 60's commie technology, not on this thread, unless it's a DKW/ČZ/Jawa :eek7

    Denger would not approve!

In all fairness though, a modern style 2t expansion chamber on one of those motors would probably be too much for the bottom end to keep up with, power-wise, and just looks out of place, even if it's a huge upgrade in power.

That Triumph was sweet. I had one very much like it. Would love to have one again.

Shame about the proof-reading! Maybe their bleeding ears distracted them too much?
