    Started repairing the original but the handlebar mount bushings are bad and NLA. Then I found the NOS part.

    Yeah they were super fast last time for sure. No worries, tons to do until then.
    Will be fun to get the hardware back and start bolting some stuff together.
    The GS1000 gas tank made it to Anchorage. Might see it yet today. Or Monday.

    sometimes they’re slow to call back when done, and I was slammed all week with work and some family crap (adjacent death). But when I called today, they weren’t done so I’m like PHEW, wasn’t me that dropped the ball :photog

    Second Sunday of the month means “vintage bike OC” day

    so I mozy over to have lunch with some friends and talk shit, look at bikes.

    a buddy “dick” had 2 other guys bring over his seeley matchless….. one of 6 produced. Dick has a very very impressive bike collection. The fellas invited me over for pizza and beers and to talk more shit, but I’ve been busy and need to chill before work, so I went home.
