Had an awesome few days away. Up Mt Terrible, visited a Southend Point of Lake Eildon, sliced a tyre and bush mechanic'd it back together for another 180Km of tracks.

The little WR took it all like a champ. Fresh suspension, all fresh bearings, clean oil and filters. Its like a new 15 year old bike underneath all those scratches

Keeping this thread moving in the right direction..

I took the fresh 701 out yesterday through Bunyip forest out to Neerim with a little exploring on side tracks. Most of Bunyip is still closed after the fires a few years ago. Pity, as it's full of great 4x4 roads to explore.

My mate came on his new T7 too, we both had our first slow drops in freshly graded soil.

I will aim to organise an offroad day ride from Neerim South in January sometime when its not too hot, just got to get out to pre-ride it first so I know klms etc. Stand By

If I can get my bike finished in time I'd be keen. I've gone back to a 701 and it will be in bits soon doing some mods.

Long story, been a shit of a year but if it works out I'd be keen to ride with you guys again Jardine. I think the last time we rode I was on a 701 also. A few years ago now.

Hi Glitch if you bring a map I can jot out an easy route that will mean you can start off with us and fine for bigger bikes and maybe meet up along the way, once I check out what the tracks are like I will look at more details as to what klms etc. Probably suit 690/701s etc. Bigbore and I were out there last week for a punt around on the 450's and a lot the tracks have been really smashed by 4wd's with endless deep ruts so I need to do a recce first to see what are the best options.

Did an easy gravel Rd ride up around the Black Range and Donna Buang on the weekend. Nice scenery but eager to get into some more challenging terrain.

Yes that is true. And If I had millions of dollars there would be many, many more and I wouldn't have to keep selling them. Although I have to say lately with the effect of the Rona on our business my interest has waned significantly.

Thanks for posting up Richo - always tricky finding dates/times to align with everyone’s life commitments. I’m not going to make excuses - ok, I will. I’m moving house and going on holidays all in the next few weeks. But if you or others are free for a day ride on the weekend of 23/24 Jan, I can commit to that!
