UPDATE! The dates are May 3-6. Hey Everybody, It looks like most people are going to be trucking in. The problem is we probably won't have enough parking spots for everybody. So some folks are going to have to unload their gear and park at the boat ramp. It's only a couple minutes away and we can shuttle people if necessary. Also we're not allowing RV's in the the group parking lot, they just take up too much room. Even full size trucks with trailers may not be able to fit. We'll try to squeeze in as many as possible, but please be flexible. Attached is a map of the campsite. As you can see there's limited parking. The RV spot is where we'll have all of our cooking equipment and supplies and won't be available for general parking. My truck will be there since it's hauling much of the equipment to the site. Don't worry about bike parking, we have plenty of that. If you have any questions just PM me. So we've started getting questions about the rally this year so here's the thread. I've talked with Cory and DaveBro and we decided it'll be quite similar to last year's. We'll be at Fuller Grove group campground again as long as it's open. It should be, but it depends on weather and water availability at the site. The tentative dates are May 3-6, and we'll have the site Thursday through Sunday nights. This way we avoid Mother's Day and aren't too close to the Sheet Iron ride. This is of course subject to change. This year we will be charging up front to make sure people who say they are showing do. The cost isn't set yet but it'll be inexpensive. The price will include four nights of camping and dinner Friday and Saturday nights. There will be an extra cost for dinner Thursday night. I think we'll do a similar menu to last year, Hot dogs, sausage and chili Friday, pulled pork on Saturday ( in the pit smoker of course) and for the early birds, pizza Thursday. Remember this group campsite is limited to 50 people and it's for tent camping. If you have an RV you can stay at the Fuller grove individual site campground, all of 3 minutes away and still have meals and hang out with everybody. RV's are allowed at the group site but take up too much of the available parking. In the next couple of months we'll iron out the details, get the cost figured and get some rides planned. So there it is, the thread is started. Please feel free to make suggestions or ask questions.
