Last but not least
I think this rope was higher to start?
That would be the NO slack line !!!
Jill gets now why you said you could walk on it all day !
Thanks for posting that Chris, I sent a link to my mom.
Awesome post, Cory!
I want to thank you and Marcia for all you did to make this happen. You two took care of pretty much all the logistics, and made sure things ran smoothly and got done throughout the weekend. And all of this completely selflessly because you did not / could not ride this year. A very sincere thanks to you both, and I really hope you will be able to ride again soon.
Thanks for sharing this vid and the other fantastic vids and pictures.
You guys are simply awesome 2 up on the Big Bikes.:eek1
Sounds good, Erik. I'll give you a little time to bond with your new bike before we get together and trash it.
Seriously though, I'll try to send you a PM next time we do a ride you might like.
Rad!!! I think riding with you guys would be fun. Yeah this big bike is a foreign object to me, but I'm diggin it.
He is being serious about the trashing your bike part. Haba
You ride with matt and kelly and you will find yourself on singletrack and possibly on your ass. At least that's how it was for us on both accounts.
It was the most fun we have had on a 990 weekend ride though and we can't wait to ride with them again!
am pretty sure thats what Erik is looking forward too
Not the on my ass part.
I had a great time!! The scramble on Sat. morning to the first intersection was a blast but I really think it was fate I turned around on the 131 and caught up with the big bikes.... I could not have asked for better company or riding partners. We overcame snow drifts, ruts, and the Bear Creek crossing (Don't look Nancy!!) I look forward to next year when I will stay from start to finish. I hope Nancy, Tim, Dave, and Bob come up this way for a nose bleed ride !! Thanks to all who put this awesome ride together, those who gave aid and assistance to those in need and everyone of the participants. I hope to get to know you all better....
Hey Brian, what happened w/ the bike? Obviously you fixed it but what was the issue? Great riding w/ you and hope to see you at the Crown point Rally in a few weeks. I'm hooked.
Clutch safety switch... i KNEW I should have disabled that when I did the sidestand switch... Live and learn. Won't happen again !!
Im checking out the Crown Point rally now... My Weekends are Sun. thru Tues so it might be hard to pick it up halfway... I can get out of town on Sat. afternoons but we will have to see.... I hope I can go !!
I just looked. I would have had to sign up by 5/1/12... I guess I missed the inaugural Crown Point rally.... That one sounds fun !!
I left SF 5:30am from my brother place and arrived San Diego around 3pm Wed.
I had a great time! Thanks to Dean, Dave, Cory & Marcia for all works that you guys
put up for this great rally.
This is the best feast rally ever for me, there was so much foods and were all excellence.
Dean's BBQ was just amazing!
Everyone is so nice and made me feel so welcome. .
The riding is outstanding up in Mendocino Forest, I know I'll be back next years.
Nice to meet all the old and new faces!
Sorry I missed it. I was at work from 8a Friday to 8a Monday and wishing I was somewhere else.
You and your good coffee were missed Tom as well as all the other locals who didn't make it this year.
Thanks for the photos & reports everyone!
I volunteered to cover for a sick RiderCoach last weekend, so sorry I didn't make it up as planned. I was looking forward to meeting several of you for the 1st time, eating Dean's BBQ & pizzas, & riding MENDO again!
I guess I'll just have to sneak up there for a mid-week ride after M1 is clear of snow.
yeah Brian, you made a great addition to our little group, glad you could make the fun even with your swiss cheese airbox.
Don't look at the rut, don't look at the rut!
Definitely want to do a Shasta ride around my birthday in July.
