Dirt routes looks like you have it pretty dialed in on the maps for getting to dirt the fastest and the longest from the south. Once you get around/west of Indian valley reservior the options are endless. It's probablly going to take you longer than you would think once you get around the reservior. I would suggest twin valley road or take M5 to Letts lake to M10 to bear creek into the campsite.

If you get stuck in traffic or get a late start cut out the reservior and just ride hwy 29 to clear lake oaks and hit high valley road that droops right in at Bartlett springs and M5

Also pope valley chiles pope valley and Butts canyon are good ways to get off the big highways and see some nice two lane county roads.

Please put me down as "In' for this.

    Trucking / Camping / Dinner.

I have no problem parking my car offsite if the lot gets crowded. If I can get around my pack-rat nature I might use this as my initiation to leaving the car at home and loading up my 250 with camping gear.

    Hey Everybody,

When addressing the participant list and want to be added or something have edited,
please let Cory know. He's taking care of that post. He and Marcia will also
    be collecting the funds.

I'm responsible for securing the campsite and cooking. I'll be talking to PG&E
next week and start the reservation process.

Let's not forget about DaveBro who's in charge of beer. Many think that's the
most important responsibility at the rally and it might be.

It's also nice to see some folks throwing up ride ideas, looks like some
good routes, keep those ideas coming!

Just so I can have a spot for my truck, I will be camping, trucking, and eating. As I said before my family has a grocery store and I have no problem getting food, beer or what ever. I'll be heading up friday morning, I expect to get there at 8 am. Really stoked for this trip:freaky. Nick, little twin, will be bringing up his truck as well, I noticed he didn't have details.

    Hi Cory,

Thanks for the tip about High Valley Road, it looks like a much better route than taking 29 all the way to Upper Lake to High Glenn (?) ...

Looks like Deer Valley connects to Bartlett Springs at High Valley, where I seem to recall a sign for Pinnicle Rock, which I've never seen (I'll spare you yet another map ... ha! :-)

I'll have fun exploring up there!

    See you around the campfire,

Realistically it looks more like I'll be riding in on Saturday and hopefully eating pulled pork before riding back home that night. Getting a weekend off seems to be the realm of fulltime coworkers who have worked in my store for years, not part time noobs such as myself...

So reservations are made with PG&E. They wondered why we wanted
to go up there so early when nobody is there and it's cold.
I said that's the reason why, nobody's there!

Anyway I just spoke with Cory and he'll have the paypal info up shortly.
So all of you that have indicated you're coming, pay up, because it's first come
    first serve.

If we do get to the 50 person limit there will be plenty of room at the individual
site just a couple of minutes away. And of course anyone staying there can spend
all their time at the group site!

There are alot of firsts here for me. It will be my first organized rally, my first time meeting any of the inmates, and the first time in Mendo NF. I will be watching the threads closely until May but can use any tips about the trip, necessities, usual temperature(clothes), and any other good info. I'm really looking forward to this!!!!
