I tried posting before but it said it needed to be reviewed by a moderator or something?!?! Anyways, big thanks to Dean, Janet and the rest of the crew for putting together such a great trip. This was my first but definitely not my last.

    Hey Poom,

Huge thanks to Janet and Dean for once again organizing such a great event. You two do an outstanding job. So sorry to see Janet's little mishap at the end.

It was great to see a bunch of new faces as well as the old timers. The Sac crew were all very cool and I hope to ride with them before next year.

Here's a video I took at Penny Pines of Dirty Devil ripping it on his Husaberg. We should all hope to still be riding like him at his age.

Not sure why the YouTube video doesn't look as good as the raw video off the GoPro. I'm not a video expert by any means.

Thanks again Jan and Dean for a great event. As always great food and friends. The shooting session was the best. Got to share a great variety of guns and ammo. Oh yes, also motos.

Big round of applause for Dean, Janet, Sharon, etc . . . for putting on yet another great Mendo Rally. :freaky:clap:freaky:clap:freaky:clap

This is my favorite rally because of the people, size and location. :thumb

Here's a few of my pics. Didn't take a lot this year. The rest are here: https://joefromsf.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/ADVrider-Mendo-Rally-May-2015

I rode almost 450 miles of dirt at this year's rally over 5 days. My tracks:

Anybody want to claim these sandals? Found them near the main social area as we were packing up on Sunday.

    Hey Kevin,

For me at least, YouTube seems to default to 480p when I view videos. I simply pause the video and change it to 1080p using the settings icon (looks like a sprocket) in the lower right corner. Looked fine in 1080p.

    Joe,

Thanks for the idea. I know about the resolution selector gear thing. My you tube video at 1080 looks worse than the raw video played from my PC.

I know it's possible for GoPro video to look good on YouTube because there's tons of it out there. I just don't know the way to do it.

    Once again, FUN FUN!

    Thanks all!

Kevin, my brother doesn't believe that the 950 can be ridden quickly on single track. Did any of that video come out?

I can only echo the sentiments I've heard… great people, food, beer, riding. Thanks to Dean, Janet, Sharon, and all who pitched in! I'll be back.

    Charlie,

Same issue as Wayne's video. The upload to YouTube degrades the quality a bit.

Video never does the terrain justice although the trail in this video isn't that steep most of the time.

You impressed the hell out of me on that big bike.
