UPDATE. WE'RE FULL! Ok, now we can get the list started. Just send your $60 to Mendorally@yahoo.com Remember to use your ADV name so we don't get the names mixed up. Also, it's money going to a family or friend so we aren't charged. If we are charged it's coming out of the beer budget! And, as of now the lake is full. Let's hope it stays that way. This is mostly the same info as last year with some updates. The planned dates this year are Wednesday April 27th through Monday May 2nd. That means we'll have our great Fuller Grove campsite Wednesday through Sunday nights. Of course this is based on PG&E having the site open, I'm sure they will though. I know it's getting a little earlier but Mother's Day is the following weekend. I'm guessing it's going to be muddy and snow in the upper elevations so I think we'll need a hose for cleaning the bikes this year. I'll check with the camp host about that. The price should be $60 again as long as the camp fees haven't been increased. Fees include camping, dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Maybe Wednesday too if there's not too many campers the first night. It also includes beer, soft drinks and snacks. Last year's menu seemed to work out well so we'll it'll probably be quite similar. For payment we'll do PayPal again but not until reservations are confirmed for the campsite. Remember too, this group campsite is limited to 50 people and it's for tent camping. If you have an RV you can stay at the Fuller Grove individual site campground, all of 3 minutes away. And you can still have meals and hang out with everybody. RV's are allowed at the group site but take up too much of the available parking. And, if the group campsite fills up (which it will) the overflow folks can set up camp in the individual site. Remember the Rally is the camping event. Not an organized riding event. Riding is whatever you and your friends want to do. That being said there's plenty of great riding in this area. I know this description is a little short but most of you know what to expect after four years, but feel free to ask any questions or make reasonable comments. I'm not starting an official in list until reservations for the campsite are confirmed. Too many people believed that their space was reserved from the initial "in list" and missed signing up when the reservation list started. Now you're welcome to indicate that you'll be attending but no official list will be started until payment is required. Also, no refunds if you cancel after April 11th. Last year we had a few last minutes cancellations and we had to scramble to get the last few sign-ups. However, if you need to cancel after that you can sell or give away your spot to somebody else. So start planning to get those days off! And yes, I cut and pasted much of this from last year's first post.
