Awesome trip as always! Thank you Dean & Janet. Enjoyed catching up and putting screen names with faces. Special thanks to Charlie for getting me off the trail and Kevin & Aaron for the escort and mud pit rescue.

Grand times. Will try better to behave myself in camp henceforth. Thanks fishwhisperer. Made it home safely, thanks. Can't say the same of my beloved DR350. Seems to have eaten a valve or some such. Happened on the way back to Fuller for the last time of the weekend, right where the elk are usually assembled. Locked the back wheel for 20 or so feet before I pulled in the clutch lever as it was swinging past neutral and coasted to a stop. I'll have to do the top end at the least. Ah well. Thanks Dean, Jan, et al

Thanks Dean and Janet; the food was incredible as usual, especially the pulled pork. Nice choice of kegs. Thanks to Joel for making the trip up from SoCal. Thanks to SpeedRacer for the daily entertainment. Looking forward to the next one. A couple of quick pics from the phone...

Bummer. I had Sanhedrin Mtn in the "Where's Bill's bike going to explode" pool.

Seriously, that sucks Bill. Glad it was an easy recovery.

Thanks again Dean and Janet and all the rally attendees for a great weekend. I had fun riding with Bill, Scott, Steve, Wayne and Joel. And the swimming hole was awesome.

Only pics I took were from my Saturday ride with Joel. I also have some video from Thursday and Friday but that will take longer to post.

big thanks to dean, janet and the grill masters. the volunteers are awesome, surprised to see there are many of you, dean, janet and the guests are lucky to have you all.

the food seems fit for kings. enjoyed all 3 nights of dinner. i heard the wed night was great too. totally a food fest.

great to meet lots of new peeps and thanks to norcal peeps for making me feel welcome. of course seeing old friends is already a lot of fun.

this was first mendo rally and first time taken the africa twin on dirt. the riding didn't disappoints.

    wow.

gt. that is one night to remember. good to hear you made it home; of course having a wife is better than the auto club, and free too.

bill. too much near miss last weekend. glad to hear you're unhurt.

that air cooled Japanese steel is suppose to be bulletproof. i'm interested to hear what you find out.

thanks joe for guided tour, helping me fix the flat and the pics.

mendo is surely one of california's gold.

Sure glad my check didn't bounce as I had a great time, meeting, eating, drinking, riding. What an effort it must take to make this a GREAT meet up. Dean, Janet and helpers, thanks so much. Dunno what else to say. THANKS !

Janet, there will be a delivery for Luc on Wednesday.

Joel, great to hear that you made it up to Mendo! Sorry I missed it, but for a good cause - my Son received his MBA from Kelley School of Bus at Indiana U, had to be there!

I'll try to make it down to the desert again, and hope you come up North some more.

    Cheers, Roland

roland, i remember you're from napa and asked the other guys for your whereabouts. they know you but we're all wondering what happened. your 625 suspension should be fixed by now.

grateful to cory (bonnie&clyde) for meeting me at middle town and good lunch at the mex restaurant, then lead me to the campground. we took hw175 which has awesome twisties.

i was half hour late from the meetup time; i underestimated the ride up but the view was awesome.

made it to camp and soon, dean fired up the grill and handed it over to john and mike. those are heavy duty aprons, you guys take your job seriously!

i was tired after 8 hours or so of riding and went to bed after dinner. the next morning, this what my camp site looks like...:clap

i thought this was a riding rally, but i guess dean meant "riding is what you and your friends want to do"....:lol3

Thanks Dean and Janet and everyone! (including the several people who helped me get unstuck.) Another excellent time. I'm still thinking that just one more go at it could have gotten us to the top of Hull Mt. on Thursday. That will probably bug me for a while!

I'm glad everybody had a good time. Special thanks to Janet for helping me keep everything
organized. Also thanks to Pete for hauling up the supply trailer and Tom for transporting the beer.
Which by the way you guys didn't even finish with only three kegs!

Mike and John did a great job on the grill which gave me time to take care of other things.

And even though Sharon couldn't make it this year she helped with the menu and shopping at Costco.

I really appreciate all the folks who helped with clean up after the meals, thanks for the effort.

Oh, you know the kid who was riding his jetski at 6 am Sunday morning and woke us up.
Well I talked with his dad and karma gave him a little whack. While riding in Penny Pines Sunday
he had a front flat, threw his chain and broke his clutch cable. I told his dad he deserved it.
    He didn't argue.

Is everybody still in a meat coma? We might've gone a little overboard this year, well,
maybe not. We'll see what we'll come up with for next year's menu.

dean. you and your staff ran the smoothest event i've ever been too. great to see lots of peeps helping in the clean up.

the place is the perfect venue. only limitation is the limited parking. we should take turns. we get to truck next year....haha.

i slept well in my tent even with the sound of the jet ski, but when you dropped the metal lid or pan, that got my attention.

great that joe woke me up around 9am on saturday to go riding.

of course, the usual suspects are in the mix
