Dean and I rode up past the first patch of snow to scout if we could get around. The answer was no.

So the group turned around and rode back down the Mnt. and decided to go to Stonyford.

So we had to turn around again and try and get around the tree using road 311. Marcia and I turned around after going down 311 for a bit. We had another friend (Sandplow) coming in that afternoon and wanted to meet him at the site. So we split from the group after i cought up and let them know.

Here I am coming back to Marcia after letting Ramjet know we are splitting off goofing off

Wow - Had a fantastic time meeting everyone. Still sneezing all JustPaul's dust out of my nose...ha. This was my first actual ADV group trip, and I really enjoyed the whole thing.

Thanks to Macadamia for the first aid help - I copied Joe's road rash result, therefore no photo needed.

Just wanted to say it was a very serendipitous adventure and pleasure meeting all you guys. If it wasnt for running into Charlie (Lastplace) and Evan at the Valero in Hopland with his tt500 perched on the Ural I would have been a couple miles away at Deer Valley camp ground. Im so happy to meet another group of good people who like to ride as well as put some faces to the names.

You dont have to twist my arm to go for a ride what ever the terrain, just give a holler!

    best, matt/foos
