i am 5’8”, 215 lbs and looking for any suggestions for a good fitting mesh jacket. Finding a jacket that has a more generous cut in the Belly area would be great. What is your experience? Any suggestions? I find that sizing to my chest size usually means the fit around my lower torso is a bit tight. Since a lot of my ordering is done via websites, I don’t have any options to try stuff on first.

I find Tourmaster pretty generous in the waist sizing on mesh jackets. At least that was my experience with one.

Firstgear are usually cut pretty generously through the body, as well as Olympia.

My Olympia Moab Jacket has been the most forgiving fitting / adjustable fitting jacket I have ever worn. It is so perfect in my mind I don't know what I'll do when it wears out.. but thankfully its such quality kit I don't think it ever will!

Olympia makes a fine 3XL mesh jacket that fits me at unpublished weights exceeding your own :lol3

Waist cut, no problem. I was over 250 USA lbs. at this time.

3/4 length, adventure-style jackets will fit easier than waist cut styles...

Been there, done that, ain't going back.

But yeah, Firstgear and Tourmaster/Cortech generally fit the best when I was at my roundest.

These guys have real live hands-on no bull reviews of the stuff they sell AND they correct the shitty manufacturer size charts AND they even list maximum belly size AND they're freakin' fantastic people to order from and deal with.

(They used to be called Newenough, and I'm still salty about the stupid new generic name. But never mind that.)

I am taking a closer look at the Olympia Bradley. Understated yet functional?

My favorite. I am 5'8" and 270 pounds. All tummy. Finding jackets that fit my tummy, and I do not otherwise swim in, is a challenge. Cortech was another one, no longer made.

I remember seeing a dude with a similar issue in a leather jacket. He had made for him a zip in add-on that extended the belly of his jacket.

Sometimes you gotta think outside the box. Or the jacket.
