Hi, noob here. I've been searching and haven't found the answer, so here goes. My wife and I, along with another couple, are doing our first baja trip on dual sports. There are three DRZ400s, and one CRF250X. The Honda isn't street legal here obviously, and I'm wondering how you guys get the liability insurance you need when taking Off-road bikes down that aren't street legal here? Anyone have a work around?

    Thanks in advance,

You get it at the border from a mexican insurance broker, or try bajabound.com here in san diego

Thanks for the reply, but that's the problem. Places like bajabound don't have the option (online anyway) for non-street legal motorcycles. For the other three of us, no problemo, but the crf250x isn't listed. I see tons of people doing the dual-sport thing down to baja on unplated wrs and crfs and xrs, etc. There must be a way they're doing it. Hope hope.

    They're riding them...:D

I'm not aware of coverage for off road toys.
