found other link -
Sorry guys there was a glitch in the website but the link from here worked, just not on the web page. It worked through several test sessions but failed today, somehow.
When it rains it pours...
I found the other link, and I think I got in - just got a confirmation email.
Ive been trying since 11:59 and no luck...
My Paypal confirmed payment Wed, but I never got a email confirmation from DVTR. Normal?
Yes. there was no confirmation email set up at that time. If paypal went through you have a spot. I believe Liz was working on sending out confirmations manually.
I got a confirmation email within the hour?
There's one set up on the second round.
Michaux Dual Sport Waitlist - Reminder
We’ve received several requests from those who had trouble signing up on Saturday to be added to our waitlist - thank you for your interest in this ride. Again, we really apologize for the round-about nature of Saturday’s sign up round. Please email [email protected] by this evening with the subject line “Michaux Dual Sport Waitlist” if you were trying to get in through our website link on Saturday and couldn’t. We’ll add you to the waitlist and will reach out as soon as spots become available.
I got through the round-about way on Sat & received a Paypal confirmation pretty quick. As yet I have NOT received a DVTR confirmation.
To me with PP conf. that means I'm in, but with the confusion on Sat & your above response-I'd feel better with a club conf.
If they're getting to them-fine
If I should've gotten one with entry-What's up??
You should have gotten PP and Formsite confirmations. If not, reach out to Liz at [email protected] if you have any questions about your registration. PP can't go through unless formsite allows it so you should be OK.
We are so grateful for everyone's interest in this year's Michaux Dual Sport. We currently have 200 riders all set to go, and those riders have received a PayPal confirmation and a Formsite confirmation of their registration. Reach out to Liz at [email protected] if you have any questions about your registration.
We have been working our hardest to make up for the issues in registration during Saturday's sign up session. Thanks for your patience and understanding, and thanks to those who emailed to be put on the waitlist. We have closed the waitlist. If any entries become available, those will be offered to the existing waitlist first. And if (by some divine stroke of luck) there are tickets remaining after that, we will host a lottery for them.
The DelVal Crew
Wow looks like I found out about this a couple weeks late! I have never registered for event like this, I’m learning there are several around the area yearly. How do these work typically? Do you have a group leader you follow? Or you get a gpx route and go at your own pace?
You get a roll chart. There are also markers (arrows/ribbons) at key points to aid with finding the places to turn. Optional harder sections are available to ride, or easily bypass. Ride at your own pace.
Most Dual sports use roll charts as mentioned, but others like the Pine Barrens 400 use gpx. http://www.pinebarrensadventures.com/2020-pine-barrens-400/
Boy do I have some good news !
If you were a member of DVTR you'd have found out last night on our club zoom meeting.
But for now, you'll have to wait for the official announcement to get the rest...
