    Read it.

This isn't the same folk that have put it on for the previous 30 years. It's a different group.

The description of the ride is "we'll guide you on an all-day long ride through the local forest roads and paved twisties. And who knows, you might even learn something about the area's history. "

Maybe it will be similar to the rides of the past, but the description sure doesn't sound like it. I've asked about that, but haven't received a reply.

The ride is also described as free, and not expensive on the same advertisement.

    It is his namesake.

    Happy Brithday
    André Michaux (1746)
Michaux was a French botanist who traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, and North America. In 1785, the French government sent him to the US to spearhead the first organized investigation of North American plants that could be of use in France. His botanical journeys through the US lasted until 1796, and he recorded his studies in two books on North American botany—one of which is devoted to oaks. He also traveled to the Middle East, where he acquired what Babylonian artifact found near Baghdad? More... Discuss

Outstanding! I was hoping some motivated group of good folks would carry on the Michaux DS torch that the MORE folks have kept lit for 30 years.

Looks like I'll have a good reason for new knobbies in August again after all! :clap
