My favorite ORV park ... Grabbed
New lunch break TAG:
Nice lunch break!
Other Lower peninsula Michigan tag thread reminder...
Washington & Livingston county dirty tag
Short gravel road to this tag location on north side of Indian Springs metro park...
Thanks for the hint. I was hoping to grab this on Saturday but that obviously didn't work out... Is this a location that is accessible at any time? I do a lot of my riding late at night.
Yes it is accessible any time. The park is likely closed but no need to go inside. North of the train tracks it is a quiet residential gravel 2 lane. South of the tracks it a slightly rougher 1 lane gravel drive. I don't recommend going past the turnaround, it gets nasty, which is why I'm parked so far from the sign! The turnaround area had some water on the west side over some large ruts so watch out at night. Also, the coyotes are really hungry this time of year so I wouldn't stay long. Have fun!
Grabbed. Very neat spot!
Pedestrian entrance on the backside of Stoney Creek Metropark. Be careful if you go down Snell road. It's mostly nicely packed dirt but there are spots with some serious pot holes.
I suppose it’d be cheating to grab a tag with the bike in a truck. I’m heading to the UP for the Lake Superior Pro Rally but plan on riding more than spectating. The possibilities to drop the tag in a better spot would have been endless.
If anyone has suggestions for spots I should hit please let me know.
Looking for people to ride with in the Reed City area!
I'm a new bike owner (and new rider), looking to do some dirt road riding, and some easier trail riding.
I have the bike plated and I have the ORV stickers on it. Currently I have my temporary permit. After some more time with the bike and some more time practicing I'll take the skills test and get my motorcycle endorsement.
I'm also new to the area. Only been here about a month. Moved down from the Traverse City area.
My girlfriend rides a street bike (vintage Triumph), but I don't know *anyone else* who rides at all.
