Yeah, a bit short notice but considering I don't even know when I want/can go on a ride..
If it rains I'll be home trying to fill some tanks

Ha, rain. I have very distant memories of that stuff, along with memories of a lawn.

I got about 30000 litres into my tanks out of the last fall a week ago.
Creeks have dried up here for the first time in the memory of the old timers

I'm interested for Saturday. Kew/Kendall could be a good starting point - abt half way between Taree, Wingham, Comboyne and Tele Point. Bit further for others.

Got any ideas for destination or route? May have to be a bit circumspect - it will be double points.

    That’s a good days riding.
I rego’d my GS today so will be keen for the next ride (commitments permitting)
I am thinking of heading out Tuesday. Wingham - Nowendoc & back via either Thunderbolts or Oxley if anyone is keen.

Unfortunately can't be there. Got an appointment to have my ticker checked.

RowBust and I started at Kew today, then Comboyne, Elands, Gingers Creek for morning coffee (via Knodingbul) then a bit further west and down Enfield Rd and back roads towards Wherrol Flat and across to Lansdowne. At that point, we went our separate ways, RowBust to Tele Point and myself to Tinonee. A good time was had by all two of us.

I got the bragging rights because I had the biggest bike - a 300. Not often I can say that, so gotta take my opportunities.

Heading up the coast this week, leaving work at lunchtime & slabbing to Kingscliffe. Reckon I should be somewhere north of Kempsey by 8.00pm & ready to camp. Anyone got a suggestion for a pub room between there & Macksville.

Star in Macksville was pretty good a couple of years ago.
If you don't make it that far the Royal at Kew or Timbertown Wauchope.

Stayed at the Star about 1981 when I was up there working on a job for the railways. Was $8 per night. Looking at the photos I guess thats changed! Used to have hippie night on Tuesday when all the ferals would come out of the hills & have bands going .
