Yep. Missouri in early June it is. I exercised my power as tie-breaker (since the poll was deadlocked) and pulled the trigger.
And, no, we haven't set a specific spot in Missouri yet. Pro'ly will plan for a mid-week meetup of goofballs ... that would be us.
    And ideas? :dunno
When we nail down a specific place, I'll post an announcement.

Ok, think of us left coast guys (ok, ME) who would like to make the trip. Go do Mike's gathering in Utah and the on to yours. IF you do it in the middle of the week, I'm out... a couple days to MO from Utah. Just a thought... :dunno

Cripes, sounds like we're about to be kicked out of this forum and over to the upcoming events....:clap :clap :clap :rofl :rofl
And sorry Gerg, no sympathy here. Leave Utah on a Monday morning, and be in Mo. tuesday easy. Crap, I left Los Angeles on a Tuesday at 3, and was home Thursday nite and took the time to stop at the Grand canyon and such.
I'd expect it to be a few on Tues., everyone(all six of us :): ) rolling in for a Wed. night bash, then some leaving Thurs., while a few remain around till Friday morning?

Man, we'd love to have you join us, Gerg. And I'm not being intentionally exclusionary. But this started out as an idea to have riders from the Midwest get together. If Left Coasters or anybody else wants to join us, more power to 'em. :thumb
Nothing's set in stone yet ... but the QuikCrete's dryin'.

I'm runnin' out of vaca. days pretty quick. It'll have to be over a weekend for me to make it (same for Ice probably). I just need to incorporate a Sat. and Sun. somehow.

How many days do you expect to have? I was planning to use 5 vacation days and take advantage of 2 weekends. I'll probably ride up to Louisiana, MO, north of St. Louis first, and then back to the meeting site.

I only have 9 days left between now and Aug. 17th. I'll use one for the Euro Riders Rally in Kentucky, two for the BMWMOA in W. Vir., and 5 for a dual sport trip with HSTA to Moab in April.

That's my plan too, HC. I figured I'd leave here early in the week, get to Wherever We're Going, hang out for 2 or 3 days, then come back the following weekend ...

Midwest should be Nevada. What's with Ohio being called "mid-west"? It's more like Mideast...but without the Palestinian problem.

Calling the central part of the country the Midwest probably made more sense back when anything west of Pennsylvania was considered the wild western frontier.

So did we ever pick a town? Hermann is a popular destination for motorcyclists.
