Putting feelers out here ... would there be any interest in trying to organize a meeting of ADVRiders in the midwest next summer ... say a fairly central location like Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, etc.? I'd be willing to help work on it if enough people show a modicum of enthusiasm for it.
Just think: Putting faces and handshakes to the names here. Riding. Talking. Laughing. Drinking beer. Swapping tech tips. Drinking beer. Discussing great issues into the wee hours. Drinking beer. Comparing accessories. Drinking beer. Did I mention drinking beer?

Keep those cards and letters coming, folks, and we'll see where this goes. :thumb

    I can go.

How about Toledo, so we can eat at Tony Packo's and camp on the lake? Or maybe in the bluffs northwest of Cincinnati....lotta good riding down there and a few campgrounds. Brown County Indiana is always a good choice. Or southcentral Michigan, since guns and liquor are pretty much main staples of life down there. :)

Maybe we could rent Ted Nugent's ranch for a weekend.

Any of 'em sound good to me, Jon. Good suggestions. Hell, I'm flexible.

Heck, you'd have to be, considering how much of #30 you do. :):

Reminds me of that SNL skit where Will Ferrell takes three years of yoga classes so he can blow himself. Classic.....

    My tech day buddie !!!
I might run into you this weekend. I am going for a little ride up to your neck of the woods.
I could eat those dogs until I explode. My inlaws used to live in Muamee now they are in Napolean. Tony Packo's rules. But the ride into my-sour-eye sounds like fun and since it is so centrally located we could get lots and lots of poeple.

Well, let's throw late June out for starters. Not tied to it, mind you, but we can get the ball rolling ...

    Howdy BMW Rider,

I was born and raised in the midwest ( Northern Minnesota ) I am planning on getting back that way next summer to visit family and friends. Keep us updated on the progress of this event, if our time frames and trails cross I would love to see you folks.

I think Eddy's 300 acre farm would be perfect for a gathering.

Room for camping, shooting, drinking, eating, gravel to ride, bluffs to climb...shooting, drinking, eating.

    Minnesota is central...
