Do we have to refrain from using harsh language?

Fish won't ride that far, so I guess that would be OK.

Good Idea. I'd like to go to both. If they give us shit we'll just set fire to their camp and steal their beer and women.

Ark,/Mo. sounds good to me. Whenever. I like the idea of paralleling the RT rally also.

FYI, I lifted this from the rt.com site:

So it's Eureka Springs, Arkansas and it's sometime next year.
Right now in early polling the spring date is leading.
That would be much more preferable to me. We can keep our eye on what they're doing over there or we can just go ahead and set up our own gig.

Looks good on the map. I'd prefer MO but I'm biased.

    I favor that too.
And since my 50th birthday will be on May 24, I can expect generous and ovewhelming presents, right? :D

I just did a mileage check from Clumps, Ohio to Eureka Spring, Arkansas as I watch Game Seven of the Series here ... lemme see ... got my handy-dandy DeLorme thingie running ... okay, it says 720 miles one-way for me. Doable. Not in one day doable but doable.
The RT group is leaning towards the late May date still. As am I (independently of them, I might add).
Geez, guys, do we wanna hook up with the RT crowd or just do our own thing?

I'm flexible. To me, greater numbers of people don't necessarily make it more fun. I don't visit MRN so I don't know any of them. How many people do they expect? Eureka Springs is about 650 miles for me. I'll probably go on to Missouri, visit family, and come back.

What's it looking like ballpark figure for "our" group so far, you counting Rider??
I also don't care about the MRN RT thingymajiggy going on, but anyone know how many more riders would be put into the area??

I hate riding in areas with too many other bikes around, just bound to be heavy-handed LEO's around. I always try to avoid trips to the Deals Gap area whenever there's a big shindig going on cause even the lesser known roads get attention.

Really like the idea of mid week dates.

    ImaPoser

Oh yea, count me as two, since I'm, sure my riding bud would be up for a trip to somewhere new.

I'll go out on a limb and say that law enforcement WILL NOT be an issue on the backroads of Arkansas. I'd be more worried about bikes crashing into one another than actually getting a ticket out there.

    Ima,
I haven't actually been keeping track of the Yeas on this thread but I'm going to create a spreadsheet to start keeping track of it ...

Well, their presence means no swearing and no peeing on trees. Plus, you have to shine the bottom of your cat.
