Don't miss this camp! Seven- time National Enduro Champion, Mike Lafferty, knows a thing or two about getting through the woods quickly. First and foremost he knows there are no short- cuts or "magic tricks" to becoming a highly accomplished off-road rider, its more about focusing on the fundamentals, developing a consistent approach to your program and then putting in the work required to achieve it. The goal of the Mike Lafferty Enduro School is to provide you with proper direction on bike set- up, introduce you to correct fundamental riding technique with drills that you can follow- up on after the course is over, pre-race preparation, race strategy and tactics. In addition, the school covers physical preparation issues, including: training, diet, hydration, injury recovery and prevention. Cost: $895.00 Coach: Mike Lafferty Meals: Included is dinner on Friday and Saturday night, Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and Lunch at The Farm on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, March 17, 2007: Closed Range Drills & Ride Day 7:00am- 7:30am: Meet in Gym, located on the lower floor of the Best Western. Physical training seminar for Enduro and Cross- Country racing. 7:30am- 8:00am: Breakfast at the Best Western. 8:30am: Depart for The Farm 8:45am: Arrive at the farm, unload, and suit up. 9:00am: Riding instruction begins. Todays focus will be on fundamental riding technique enhancement: Body Positioning, Cornering, Braking, Throttle/Clutch Control, Log Crossings, and Starts. 12:00pm- 1:00pm: Lunch Break 4:30pm: Class ends, load up, and return to Best Western. 6:30pm: Dinner in the Best Western Dining Area in Charlottesville. Advanced technique taught including: Woods, Tight Woods, Up-Hills, Downhills, and Off- Cambers. 12:00pm- 1:00pm: Lunch Break 4:00pm: Class ends.
