Anyone out there live in Minnesota, specifically the Twin Cities?
Ditto...East metro checking in.
Menomonie, WI does that count?
I live by Menomonie, WI does that count.
Also my computer is real slow so I just keep hitting buttons. Plus I like to drink.
drinking in wisconsin? :huh never..
Mason City, IA. 2 hours south. And I don't drink much. But could be persuaded.
Anyone interested in a local dual sport ride? I haven't been offroad (on purpose) in about 25 years, but I'd been interested in an easy start. Where does go to dual sport around here?
I'd be looking for somebody to hook up with for a ride. I was thinking about heading south out of town this Sunday(10/24) for a little dirt. The destination was Winona area, or maybe some of the gravel roads south or east of town. Let me know.
Sorry I missed you, but I was out of town anyway. Did you ride? How was it?
No I didn't. I have a riding buddy that lives in Winona but he just bought a new house so he never called and I was a little slow getting up after a late night. I checked to see if anybody had responded and no one had so I ended up getting on the bicycle instead. I haven't winterized or even thought about it really so I'd be up for something maybe this Sunday weather permitting. Let me know if anyone is interested.
Yup were going to betting snow soon after that we can get togeather and drink and bitch about the cold. .
I'm in SW metro. Been riding a while, but new to dual-sporting. If anyone is looking for an intro level dual sport partner let me know. Ill check this periodically.
Here in Farmington
I live in Shoreview, I posted this over in the Twin Cities meet and greet thread:
Last chance dual sport ride this Sunday, Nov 1
I figure that next Sunday, Nov 1 is about the last chance for a dual sport ride this year. Deer hunting starts the following weekend, and I don't like to be riding around in the woods with the hunters.
I plan to meet at the Freedom gas station in White Bear along the stretch where hwy's 96 and 61 run together at 9:00 AM.
We'll head up through the pine barrens area of Wisconsin and the Crex Meadows area near Grantsberg. I plan to be home for supper, so I may have to take I35 home. There are some roads with deep sand and lots of two tracks.
Dakota MN, just south of Winona. Left of the big crick.
