Nebraska and Minnesota would be easier for us. I rode a National in MN. in 1975, anybody you know still in the club from then Bobby?

Crap, I guess if I'm going to do any Nationals, next year is the year. But can't you have it in Thielman instead? It would be much closer for me!

Great news Bobby !!! Thank you and all the UMTA crew for taking on this challenge. Gilbert looks like an awesome location.

Al Gohlike was part of UMTA in 1975. Al has been around forever.

I rode that National at Thielman in 75. They had a beer truck at the Finish. Pits were all mud.

Last time I looked the Mississippi River is pretty far east.
Last year the west had Texas and Kansas. From my perspective neither was west.

However I know how it works, the nationals go to where the clubs are willing to put one on. I don't want to put one on so I'm happy to travel

I suppose they can't win either way, this country is just so vast. For anyone living within a few hours of the coasts it is a real haul into the middle of the country, distances that look to Europeans like a major road trip. Heck, even to go from my house to Pittsburgh, PA is 8 hours driving and that is still an Eastern state!

Actually I was just funnin' about. I think it's a good idea to put all the events in the middle of the country once in a while. Makes it more viable for a lot of folks.

Yeah I'm leaving tomorrow for the Western Youth Nationals, a little over 12 hours away.

The final national up in Northern California is over 8 hours away and that's in the same state! Living in the bottom corner of the country makes everything far, but at least we get high taxes to make up for it:D

You sure those aren't going to be Eastern MotoTrials nationals? LOL, that seems to be the direction we are headed....

I am excited about this as well. Glad that the guys in the club were able to make it happen. I like the Gilbert Iron Range OHV, and really enjoyed the sections and crew up there this weekend. Good times. Still need to get all the red off my bike though! :fpalm:lol3

@bobby I would like to help setup. I will talk with you and Jack at the RYP School next week.

I can hear I95 from my house. All kidding aside traffic is so bad in the east would almost rather drive to Minnesota than Rhode Island . At least you can predict how long it will take.
