It is with deep regret after 62 years of serving the Beaver Dam community, Mischler’s Harley-Davidson and BMW will be closing our store permanently turning the key for the final time on December 23, 2020.

The current business climate has left us with no other viable option.

To our customers who have supported us through the decades, Thank you! We have also been blessed with the most loyal staff that we consider our family, and they have answered to every request presented to them with advancing their education and challenges made. We thank you!

We will continue to offer storage through the winter for your motorcycle. Pick up times will be scheduled in April 2021.

Well, crud. There goes the dealer closest to Madison. That leaves just one BMW dealer in Wisconsin now?

That's a good list Cannonshot. Sad news about Mischler's. That was always a good stop on the way to or from Madison and they carried my two favorite brands. I am fortunate to be about 10 miles from Wisconsin's only remaining BMW dealer and hope they can make it through the plague.

Do you think this was the same reason of what happened to Team Triumph Dealer in Janesville early this spring? I was at a loss for words on that as well loved going there and being a part of the community.

I’m in the Milwaukee area and and we’ve lost Triumph,BMW, KTM , Yamaha for a while now. Obviously a declining market for motorcycle interest and sales. Sad to see Mischler’s go.

Hard to believe they are will be gone. First time I was at Mischler's was 1968 or 69. We were looking for them to rebuild my brother's 1952 K Model transmission. Weird thing is they wouldn't do it and told us to buy a different bike. Apparently they would have to split the cases which would cost more than it was worth.

I can't believe no one would put a Triumph/BMW/Ducati dealer in either Milwaukee or Madison. Seems to be the power trio dealership out West.

We had a BMW dealer in MKE that recently closed. We still have Triumph and Ducati dealers.

There's Ducati in Milwaukee and thats it. When Triumph/BMW Milwaukee closed it took down a lot of peeps who liked those brands. BMW and Triumph are now a haul for anyone around Milwaukee, not good.

There’s some changes happening in the suburban Milwaukee market with regard to Euro brands. Namely, a destination dealership focused exclusively on Euro brands. Look for a soft-open within 30 days.

Shoot, I clicked this expecting to see inmate Mischler's GS stuck in a bunch of logs at the end of a pond sinking.

Don & Roy's in Brookfield sells Yamaha. Rob's in Johnson Creek sells KTM and Husky. I bought my S10 from D&Rs as a '16 new in December of '17. They were nice enough to deal with but I don't go there for service because I'm a cheap bastard and realistically the bike doesn't need it. Rob's definitely focuses a little harder on the BRP products but I think they move a fair amount of the Euro queens.

I guess it is time to take my Mischler's coffee mug out of the regular rotation and place it on the top shelf with the other collectibles.
