The Harley shops in Black River Falls WI and Winona MN both closed up last year.
Sure wish some small privateer shops would open up.

Currently operating under new ownership. I’d probably give them a few months to get up to speed, and all the changes implemented.

Shame about Mischler's. Apparently the new order at HD counted them among the dealerships to be downsized. The remaining BMW business wasn't enough to sustain them. And I sure hated to see Schlossman's go. They were my in town source for BMW parts. Kevin went over to Action (they sell KTM too) and said the atv/utv/jetski market is booming.

Is Ross still going to be a fixture at Moto-Union under the new ownership?

Yes, he's there. The word is it's going to be independent of Tytlers even though it's owned by them. I just worry how four brands can really exist in that building.

Yeah, it's in kind of a weird location. The shop seems pretty small.

I guess I don't know what is the winning formula for selling motorcycles. I think it's a product catering to a declining demographic. Hope I'm wrong on that. But I was thinking getting BMW and Triumph in there could be a good thing. I've never been a fan of the Royal Enfield (just personal preference - no specific reason), but I hated to see them leave. I'm very happy to have a BMW dealer back in Milwaukee.

    I'm wondering the same?

On another note, I see a good reason for a HD pan am (if you are into big ADV tourers) given the abundant dealer locations and all.

OK THIS REALLY SUCKS! This dealer was always really cool and a great mini destination shop. Seriously? There was no way to stay open?? What a great shop and great people. Had a new tranny put in my
1100 gs and they treated me right in every aspect. This is bad news. Why don’t we all get together and start a go fund me! ?

sorry to see you go Mischlers!

Spoke to Moto Union last week. They said they hope to be up and running with BMW March 1st.

I guess we wait and see.
