OK y'all, how about a Sunday-Monday overnight adventure.
    Route: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1TakGON0beAyEKO0CxHhf1BUBuVqHwkY1&usp=sharing
160 miles fuel range (bare minimum - really need a bit more to be safe).

Alex will have less overlap with his upcoming KLR adventure.
Mike can go fishing on Saturday.
Brad and I get to do chores on Saturday.
    Chris has no excuse.

    Thanks.
It's a chronic condition. He's here once or twice per year.

That looks like a good route. :umph

    Thanks Brad.
Doc says only one or two nights.

We named that little stage where Mike slept the 'Nesbihal Amphitheater'. It was fun playing music in that bar! One six-string Alvarez and one unique Taylor. :lol3

Beaver Ridge Road #369 and the Beaver Meadows Road #36 are closed due to the Crab fire. I don't see anything else which might impact James's route.

160 from Superior to Lochsa Lodge.
I haven't checked fires, good idea.

I did nearly this same route in reverse a few weeks ago on my f800, no issues on a bike that size. Nice riding, pretty country!

    Chris,
    Sorry about Matthew.
It's extremely hard watching your kids grow up with Ailments.

I may head up there Saturday morning and fish the St Joe river Saturday evening and Sunday. Then meet up with you guys at camp Sunday evening and ride back with the group. In the event I find a nice place to camp away from the labor day weekend crowds I can send out the location via my Spot device. Someone will have to send me their contact info via PM so I can program a custom message/contact list in advance.

If we go any further up St. Joe beyond Spruce Tree campground, fuel will become an issue. We could fuel up in Avery, but that's 40 miles further - i.e. adds 80 miles to the trip. I think we have a good chance of getting a spot a Spruce Tree, it's at the end of the road and a couple miles beyond the pavement, which thins out the crowd. If not, it's not too far back to Heller Creek, which is remote and lightly used. Not sure where the best fishing is, but Spruce Tree campground is right next to the river.

Looks good. How about going Graves creek road instead of southside RD?

I was trying to maximize dirt, Petty Creek is all paved. If you want to start up highway 12 I'd prefer Fish Creek Rd, and that would also avoid the short freeway section west of Alberton.

And I thickened it even a bit more - first day was pretty short so I added more dirt near Superior and cut out a boring stretch of highway. Now the route is almost entirely dirt, except the first stretch from Lolo, a couple miles by Superior, and a couple miles by Lochsa Lodge.

James, don't change the route on my behalf because I've got some other plans for this weekend.
