Everything is white across the Blackfoot Valley in Lincoln with a foot or two of base and the snowmobiling higher up is pretty awesome right now. We got another 6" a few nights ago and have been getting an 1" of fluff each night with another good dose coming at us for the weekend. Between snowblowing and roof-raking workouts at Club Snow N' Ice, who the hell needs a Peloton?

Still, I'm jonesing pretty bad for some seat time and have a fresh rear Motoz hybrid tire ready to spoon onto the 450L ... I think I'm gonna have to get all screwed up to scratch that itch before the thaw comes...

Good driftin' in the drifts to ya!

Olde Phart- Give us a report on that tire sometime in the future after you have had a chance to wring it out.

Plenty of snow here in Bozeman now. My last ride was Feb 1.

Will do ... it is a Motoz Mountain Hybrid replacing a Motoz ARENA Hybrid Gummy BFM which pleased me greatly with its performance and wear for a non-DOT squishy knobby. I got nearly 800 mi. out of it but will be doing more DP riding with the L this coming season so looking forward to how the DOT rated tire with more contact patch and rounder profile will do on the road.

Good keeping the rubber side down to ya!

I ran a Pirelli Mt43 rear on my 250L , pavement and dirt. Had 3000 miles on it when I pulled it off. Ran it at 12psi all the time. It was about half tread when i pulled it. Excelland traction.
Running a Motoz Tractionator ADV rear on my 690 at the moment. I've got 2k miles on it now running at around 12-15 psi with a tubliss setup. Excellent on blacktop and fairly decent on dirt/rocks. Doesn't like mud. Doesn't show any wear that I can see.

Installed a new cdi this morning and went for a short, 15mi, ride to make sure everything is ok and to charge battery. Lot's of ice here in BZN.

Wanted to ... but I'm being held hostage by 1/2 mi. of water on ice on the roads out of my Lincoln neighborhood before I would hit dry pavement. No worries, it'll get warmer with less snow soon and you can thank me 'cuz I just bought a snowmobile. :dirtdog

Good riding on something all season to ya!

I keep thinking that a snowmobile would extend my riding season but still haven't bought one. Brad has a Timbersled or similar setup.

Won't be long before the street bike comes out....:ricky

Very nice rig. My equipment is much more humble and I've considered emblazoning the sides with something like:

    Big Stink Plumbing
    "We love shitty jobs!"
    800-BIG-STNK

as an anti-theft gambit ... :thumbup

Good security through obscurity to ya!

Dry, sunny and almost 50F here in the Flathead. I saw several bikes out and would have loved to join them but spent the day bucking up fallen trees from the big blow 3 weeks ago.

Maladjusteds, Hoping for a BOM run this year and trying to determine which bike to ride. Does anyone in the Valley have a Giant Loop or similar I could throw on my FE 450 to see how it would fit and if I could get my leg over it?
