I got out late on Monday, 125 mostly dirt miles, 5 hours. The mud field at the top of Ten Mile Creek hadn't changed from the pic a few posts back. I hadn't previously crossed the hills from Clinton on Wallace Creek Rd, which turned out to be easy to follow and big-bike friendly (although I was on my WRR). No snow anywhere, and roads were all mostly dry other than the one big mud spot. FYI some a-hole has gated East Ashby Creek road, I'm pretty sure illegally, but didn't want to challenge it without research first.

Haven’t posted in this thread before since I don’t live in the area but I have property near Rock Creek. With all the crazy stuff going on now I haven’t been able to get there this year.

So I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who have posted pics and new road routes. I really enjoy following this thread and keep it up!

Lazy Sunday ride up to Gird Point. Lots of loose rock everywhere but a generally easy ride with decent views close to home.

Over Skalkaho through anaconda and into the Pioneer Byway. One of my favorite areas. Riding is mostly pavement but the views are outstanding.

Can we get through to the Lochsa Lodge from Lolo pass staying on the east/south side of 12? It looks like it'll go on the Google maps but I didn't think you could.

Yes, if/when it is clear of snow.
You take the road toward Beaver Ridge Lookout (and I recommend going to the lookout, why not?), then turn down to the probably south at an obvious intersection.

Hey Chris, see last couple posts about back route to Lochsa -- do you have tracks? The road doesn't go through on Google maps, but I know we did it, with your expert guidance.

So at Colt Killed creek you can't go straight on Powell Road to get in to the backside of the Lodge?

Thanks all! I will probably keep this in my back pocket and see if I can put it through without, but nice to have a back up. Thanks Cap'n!
