Burnsville in the southern burbs. I see your posts a lot in one of the TC threads and figured you must have some ties up here.

    Thank you ajayhawkfan:
A great write up, I enjoyed each element, and thanks a million for the GPX tracks as well.

A "must do" trek added to my To-Do list!

    Many thanks

20190901_173327.jpg I started riding part of it last weekend and found out I left home without my wallet. I had to cut it short. I started at Lathrop and took it towards st. Joe. Awesome tracks. Part of it was hidden behind some round hay bales. I missed the turn and couldn't find your tracks. That ended up being about a mile of grown over 2 track. I came up to a bridge closed for replacement west of Crosby. There was a couple of younger guys parked with a polaris ranger at the bridge closing. They said I could cross the river below where the crew put in three tubes and made a rock crossing. They had crossed days before a big rain left a bunch of mud on the banks. They said they would help if I got stuck crossing on my KTM 500. The rocks was the toughest part. You can see my tracks in the mud.
I ran out of gas about 17 miles from home and had to have my wife bring me gas. It was a good ride. Thanks jayhawkfan.

Me, my brother and a friend just spent the last week riding your route. We are on two Africa Twins and a Tiger 800xc. We rode from our home in Jackson, Ms and rode to Poplar Bluff. Due to weather we decided to ride north and do the the route counter clockwise. After a couple days we knew rain and storms were going to be an issue later in the week so we cut out the NW corner of the loop and made our way south. We sat out the storms in Branson and then worked our way east back to Poplar Bluff. It’s been a great week putting in a lot of miles. Tomorrow we head home. Thanks for putting together this great route!

Thanks for putting this together but most of the photos don't appear. Anyone else having trouble?

I graduated from UMR but didn't have time or money to travel while in school. I'd love to explore it now.

By the way, the Adventure Cycling Association released an off-road Arkansas route called the Arkansas High Country Route. I haven't ridden it but the concept is similar to the Great Divide. It consists of 3 loops, 1170 miles total with 50%/50% gravel/pavement. Might as well do both.

Hmm, the pictures are not showing in the first page of the thread, for me at least. Anyone else having the same issue?

They are not showing up for me now. I’ll check them when I can get to a computer.
