On the way home---I almost came by your house----but rode that neat road behind your house.
Figured your triumph was still in pieces :jack:jack:jack:jack

I am riding counterclockwise. Had rabbit and rhubarb pie for lunch today at Al's cafe. Nice place.
But I was riding the levee south of there and came to that"No Trespassing" sign, there was a work crew right there doing some dirt work so I didn't ride through, went around through Perryville.
I skipped a bunch yesterday, got on hwy 60 before White Plains and hightailed it to Popular Bluff for the night, trying to beat the hurricane out of the that part of the state, then this morning skipped ahead to Dexter. I think I beat it, good day today, made it to Festus for the night.

I will come back with a buddy on smaller bikes and catch all that I skipped..

I did the creek "road" after Roaring River, then later saw that there was supposed to be a go around for that.
By myself, on a half loaded GSA, I'll just say it was interesting! :imaposer

Thanks for putting this up. I’ve a young family still and can’t pull off long trips. Being from this state, I see I can still do things like this. Thanks again

I doubt I'd have the time to do this in one trip but probably two. Going to try the northern part (above I70) this fall. Probably start and stop in Hannibal.

Made it to Tower Rock yesterday, interesting rock, some history there.

I mostly outran hurricane Laura, little bit of rain this morning outside of Festus is all.
Made it to Bowling Green this evening, fun day, found a couple of water crossing I would not try.
But the one that is pictured as a muddy mess was dry on the entrance side so I rode halfway down, then I could see the other side, all wet, no way I was going to make it up that on this bike. So then I got to turn it around on that ramp, made it and got out.

    Another great ride today!

Tomorrow Hannibal, Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, been wanting to visit there for years.
And then head west and it is supposed to be dry I think so I'm planning on no problems, right?

Any reason this ride can't be done efficiently using motels instead of camping ??

I am packing no camping gear this trip. Easy to find a motel every night, I start thinking about it about 5 and have been checked in every night by 6.
Last night I couldn't get a room in Louisiana, had to ride 12 miles to Bowling Green.

I stayed in motels every night while preparing this ride. There are plenty of motels and camping sites near this route.

At the rate I'm going it's going to take me eight days. But the first day of that includes riding to my start point from near Oklahoma City with a late start that day.
Then today I did less than 50 miles because I decided to spend the day in Hannibal with Mark Twain.
And I stop and look around quite a bit other days.

Just discovered this, and read it through. Thank You! I do not get to the area of the North or West legs of your route as much as I'd like.

Unfortunately, most of the pictures do not show. Lots of the dreaded Do Not Enter circle w/bar, as below.

Fortunately.... I already have my own pictures of most of the places you mentioned on the East & South legs. :D

The park @ Louisiana MO for example.

If you can see 'em, cool, I'll figure it out. :D

    Thanks!
I'll keep trying. I'm on my laptop, Windows 10.
Firefox is my go-to, but I tried Chrome.

    I'll keep trying. :D

Today I found some of those impassable when wet places :nod
Lucky for me it is dry right now.
Stopped halfway through to take a picture, should have taken one before I got in there just to show it. No problem getting through just had to hold a tight line through those ruts.
