4 of us camped at Horsehoe Lake in Southern Illinois as we planned and we got 4 good riding days in before the weather went to crap. 2 of the days we crossed into Kentucky and one we got into Missouri.
Sieg was so glad to not have to lead this time as he has a jillion times.

I love that campground----beautiful cypress trees and the campsites are really spread out and are cheap. They even had the shower house still going.
The time stamp on the video is way off----can't figure out how to change it.
Select HD if you have the speed.

Great Video!!! Nice editing- These types of videos show you don't need to take weeks off of work or go to Alaska/Colorado to have a great adventure. I never ever though riding levees could be so interesting. Made me want to go back and ride slower to see all the beautiful scenery instead of flying down all the trails. Thank you again for your invitation BigDog and sorry about that loud pipe!!! :D

^ Hmmmmm.……..I'd be up for a small group PHBR/SMART/TMOT combination ride! Maybe a three or four day deal, start at my house, plenty of parking, I even have a couple RV hook ups and a dump station.

Hah------------not likely. What makes you think that dinky motor can out run a Hih--mahl--yan ?????
It's got the same horsepower as your 250 but at 1,200 RPM ------not 12,000 :lol3
Plus I have the reflexes of a cat.

Those himilayans are fun to ride. Took one out from flying tiger when they had their demo, like an indian klr. Itchy boots channel is a good watch.

Great weather this week. Anyone local to stl going riding to get away from folks or just to ride? Salt and snow kept me driving past week, looking to get out.

The boxer got hot quick in traffic so I pulled over to cool off and wait. Then I looked at the grassy hill and saw a frontage road and thought to my self....hey self- you can just ride over that little hill and take the backroads home. So the bike cooled off and I fired it up and went two feet off Highway 44 and the dry grass was so slippery that....well, never mind what may or may not have happened.

Regardless I am sitting on the side of Route 66 enjoying the afternoon and telling everyone that asks, “I’m fine”.

how cool- a guy just threw me a bottle of water!!! WooHoo!!!
