Have you seen the one on the shop door? "No Trespassing, I own firearms and a back hoe."

Trying to get all/most of my rides on the calendar for the year. I'm going to guess the swinging bridges ride is May 2-3 yeah?

Put on a new rear tire since Sieg and BigDog we’re laughing at me running a slick. Then I checked the bearings like BigDog always says- check em at every tire change. Well I knew he would be wrong since this bike only has 6k miles....but sure nuff...he was less wrong than usual. One of the three was ready- the seal side wheel bearing. So I called BD to ask if I needed all three or just the bad one....then my feelings got hurt and I changed all three. Next time- no reason to bring my parents into the discussion!!!
I’m glad I took it out on a test ride because I found something that needed fixing immediately- Heated Grips!!! E04A6FB5-3F97-4173-8C6D-46191BA0D4DF.jpeg EEDB003D-FA2C-48EE-A1D6-AA77CA044AFA.jpeg

Got the Honda and really like riding it but the DR will be the Bush Pig. It’s loud and rude and will have knobbies and be ready to hit the trails and woods.
I finally got a Baby GS at Gateway Saturday. It will be for mostly road duty. Since BigDog started a nuclear arms race when he got a RE Himalayan I have to have at least a 310 to keep up!

I got in a quick(?) ride to Benton, MO. yesterday. Needed some parts for the kitchen sink, they supposedly had them in stock. A nice excuse for a ride, right? The temp was in the low 40s, so I had the heated gear turned on. However, the wind was blowing pretty hard, especially on I-55. As for the parts, yeah they didn't have anything in stock so I ordered them online when I got home. Nice 3hr ride regardless.

Just finished my first 2020 ride. There are ice patches in the shadows. Later today should be great.

I just got back from my first ride of 2020. The local BMW dealer had a New Year's day ride and lunch, sorta like the Wednesday night dinner rides we do during the spring/summer/fall part of the year. We had 9 riders, spent about an hour riding through Cape Girardeau County's rural roads. Ended up at the Pilot House Restaurant for lunch, it was packed. While we were standing in the doorway waiting to get a table, a group of Harley riders rode up. Turns out they had the same idea, so we talked for awhile until a table opened up. They happened to get a table right next to us. Overall a nice day for a ride and the BBQ lunch made it even better.

Went over to EMUs new year day ride and did some woods riding. WR embarassed me by falling asleep on steep rutted uphill. First drop of the year. Great day for riding.

Should have sent you a msg. I went up Lost Creek today. Pretty fun time. Has some deeper spots on it right now. Filled my left boot while standing up. Good day to get out.

Was also out on lost creek today and filled my right boot with water, must have been the day for it!

Doubled back around through 94 to Smith Creek and then back up O from Marthasville to Stracks. Passed a guy sitting on a ADV bike on Stracks on the other side of M, maybe you ?

Nice day for a ride today.
