I’ve got the same engine and transmission in my CTX. I’m pretty solid combination. I met a guy today that had 102,000 on his st1300. Says it’s still running like new. Nice bike.

Cutting through Lost Creek earlier today. Going too fast for my limited skills when I hit the deep sand/gravel. Had to lay her down.
That’s the only pic I took. Didn’t realize it was so out of focus. IMG_3121.jpg

You’d think I’d be getting better at riding these things, after all these years..

What air pressure are you running?

    What oil are you using?

yes! That’s it! It wasn’t rider’s skill level, it was the tires and oil!! Haha!
I will tell you one thing. I went cheap on the risers. Was going to get ROX risers, and saw a perfect duplicate on eBay for way less. Turns out they were from China, and they both shattered on my little get off pictured above. Don’t buy the cheap eBay Chinese junk! They are dangerous. I think they would have broken off if I hit a pot hole on the highway. That’d be nice holding loose bars at 70 mph!

Yep. Pics from on the St Louis Tag were all post Lost Creek. Just took of the pieces of the old risers.. Just ordered Rox Risers for replacements. Live and learn.

Getting ready to spend the money on real helibars risers for the st1300. Other look shorter and don't have the power let outlet or ram mount. Have a pair of rox risers on other bike and like em.

Tearin up the T7!!! I ordered one and can even find one to look at and sit on and yours is getting worn out!!!

You're right about the risers....the Chinese ones are cast aluminum and will snap every time as opposed to Rox billet risers. The China junk is a bit dangerous.

Hauling it out to Colorado in a week or so. It’ll be completely broke in after that. New Rox risers have been shipped.

Ridden a lot of that route myself. I usually go south on 65 to Fair Grove and catch 125 there. Now that I have seen a picture I might recognize you on the road.

Anyone up for some Mark Twain exploring sometime in the next couple of months? Exploring some forest/service/jeep roads would be awesome! Camping over night would be a huge bonus.

Looking for 1-2 people to do the NMBDR with me and one other guy. Week of labor day 2021. Ride for the week with getting to/from over the weekends so 9 day total trip. Camping + a couple hotels along the way.

Thinking about taking the 390s and the toy hauler down there on Columbus Day weekend. Anyone doing the Loose Nut ride in Indiana in November?
