We rode St. Joe Thursday, to several spots to watch car rally Friday, and rode my place and Sutton Bluff Saturday but didn't make it over to Reed's Spring & Mill before we had to pack up and get up to St. Louis for the Supercross to watch my Husky guys expand their series point leads.

Crazy to meet someone from the little town of Lesterville so far away! Glad you are going to try to get down there and move tag.

Thurs 50 for the high with 50% chance of rain. I'm thinking the tag will be safe until next week. (At least from this wimp.)

I’m a wimp. I waited until it was 80 degrees to go! Great ride though. Sure was a nice day for a few hundred miles.

So,, A true chip shot for the next tag. First pic is the tag, second pic might help (if needed.. but it’s beyond the signs for service road only.)

Did I make this too difficult? Need clues? Or, are you guys just sad that the tag moved? ;)

Good one, I know that one too. And can connect it to the first with only about a mile of paved road and miles of gravel.:thumb

I came across this by accident while lost last summer. Delightful spot to spend an afternoon and worthy of a trip by itself and (picnic lunch). Be sure to take the tour if the **** is open. Excellent tag sir.

I didn’t have time for the tour. Will be going back with the wife. (Without bike, she doesn’t ride.)
    Thx

Great tag. I love how the equipment is all still operational inside. Not far at all from my property but always heading a different way. Headed to Jasper, Arkansas this weekend so I won't be moving it anytime soon.

You guys are killing me. I hate being the “thread killer”. Hopefully someone will get it soon.

Thread Killer, I'll show you a thread killer: Murder, pure and simple.
    No complaining, no whining.
It will be interesting to see how long this sits.

Old tag: Dillard's Mill. Between Viburnum and Steelville? I needed a good long day for a change, so hammered out 260 miles, to get in Show Me shape!

New Tag, is pure evil. :lift

Good news: You have an excuse to explore Sieg's TMOT trail north, if you like. Lots of crushed limestone along the way, to get the bike nice and filthy:happay.

    There are shorter routes too.

Clues: State park, in MO. Campsites open now , and summer shower house now open too.
The most northern Civil War skirmish West of the Mississippi, and only one to occur on an Iowa border.

Now we are talking! Northern Tags always hang around a while. Nicely done!
Hope to get approval to get back on a bike in a few weeks. (Knee surgery). If wife were in charge, it would be lifetime ban..

    Got it!

Battle of Athens State Park, way, way up in the upper right-hand corner of the state. I've been there many times, but per the rules, this is fresh... went there yesterday and took this.

NOW the next tag isn't as far up or over as that one (it'd be hard to go much further without leaving the state). An old school in Shelby County. It's on a state-maintained paved road, so no issue for anyone getting to it.

I’m still going to go up to the State Park. I’d read up on it, planning to go soon. Now I’ll just have to track that school down in Shelby Co..
    Good tag!

Robison School, North of Shelbyville, West on Hwy P, from 15, maybe 6 miles or so.

Warren County, had an operating Post Office from 1897 to 1908.
The people across the street, in the ranch, with barn, are also adventure riders. If the lady comes over to see you, expect the tale of their bike travels on the Dalton Highway, in Alaska.

No. This is all that i found. The old guy across the street seems to know a lot of history about the place. He may have more to share about that. We talked mostly about their alaska adventure. I should have picked his memory more...
