Huh? I haven't heard anything about that. What's the "rumor?"

Yeah, I blocked that out of my mind. Nothing pisses me off more than professional sports dabbling in politics.

I watched "The Sandlot" movie on TV this evening, haven't watched it in years and years.
Fun cheesy movie, I'd forgotten a lot of it, including James Earl Jones being in it!

"Baseball was life! And I was good at it... real good"

    ---optional boring trivia----
The last time I watched this movie was when my son (now 28 yrs old) and I with his Boy Scout troop literally camped out in the outfield at our local triple AAA baseball team stadium. It was "scouting night" and after the game we all moved our tents and camping gear out to the outfield and camped there for the night! That evening they played The Sandlot movie on the big screen while we all laid the grass in the outfield and watched it. Fun memory.
The old Tulsa Drillers stadium where we set up tents and camped for the night.:D

Yea. If i go into Taco Bell to eat any of their food, and do ten jumping jacks, I’m sure to shit in my pants…

Even though I was raised with the American League, I’m gonna go for the Braves, this time around!
    Georgia deserves some love!

Don't remind me - due to my NE connections I was rooting for the BoSox.

Probably my most painful sports-watching experience ever...

We might have been mean, but that guy must be tough - I think he faced three batters (and struck out two) after the break.

Seems like wearing enough jewelry to make Mr. T jealous would be a distraction playing?

Joc has always been a bit eccentric, but regardless of what prompted him to dress as a Golden Girl, his season changed when he donned the pearls. They aren't coming off.
