Man! Seems harder to hit, when you don't know what the next pitch is!

Watching every Jose Altuve strikeout is as thrilling as it sounds (Video)

Well, it's taken over 120+ years, but never in baseball history has there been an all lefty lineup until today, and it was a fucking slaughter. This one goes out to my fellow lefties, for those that had Lefty magazine as a kid and would say "But Abraham Lincoln was a lefty" when picked on for always smudging when writing with pen or on the chalkboard.

The all-lefty Tamba Bay Rays annilihalated the Red Sox 11-1, with 7 of 9 scoring and hitting. That, combined with the old 9/11 parlay of Yanks/Mets/Islanders (hopefully as I type this) each winning makes for an incredible day of sports!

    Nice one, Rays.

Love those guys. Number8teen's second favorite team after Connie Mack's White Elephants.

    Speaking of which...

Series opener with the Rangers today after spanking the AssHoes in the last series.

Matt Olson (you may remember his opening day, 10th inning walkoff slam) today had a grand slam in the first inning. What a way to get on the board!

You gotta love our commentators. They're ALL color guys. Dallas Braden (of the perfect game on mother's day) Ray Fosse, world series catcher, Glen Kuiper.

Come on you fuckers, hopefully this will wake you up like it did Donny Baseball, right before he knocked Morganna's knockers into the right field gap!

Now that I have your attention, October is here, and it's certainly queer (NTTAWTT, just rhymed).

From outer in, we have best of 3,5,7,7, with home field advantage relegated to only bottom/top of innings unless you're lucky and it's your stadium. Not sure if that last part is accurate, it's confusing, someone clarify if they know.

Personally, I'd love to see Oak/SD, and this seems like Oakland's year for the AL...

    Thoughts?

I understand why we have expanded playoffs this year, but I think it sucks that teams like the Yankees and the Astros are gonna have an opportunity at the postseason with the records they have. It's not really fair to the teams that kicked ass all year. They're not really being rewarded.

That said, it's nice that it's not a single game, but best of three.

We were hoping to face the AssHoes which we'd slap the shit out of, but instead we'll be facing the White Sox, whom we haven't seen all year.

But, we'll have our "pitcher's park" homefield advantage and that's not insignificant to us. We're still above .500 on the road, but our numbers at home are incredible.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but White Sox are 14-0 this year vs. lefties....I'm putting a few bucks on CWS tonight, sorry bruh.

Well she's not hanging out in a sportsbook, so she's got an edge over the pre-diabetic guy she's talking to.

So far, Luzardo has fanned three Sox in an inning and a third, and Giolito fanned none in his half...
