Considering only four teams have come back from being down 2-0, and only one team has come back from 3-0, I think the Nats will be OK. The 2004 Boston Redsox, they're not, but I hate to see them bow out with only six runs in four games.

We could have tied it in the ninth and then went 15-20 innings with outfielders pitching.

    Just sayin.

Well, it's fitting that the Nats first ever WS appearance will come from beating the team that knocked them out of their first ever post season trip, what, seven years ago?

Not the first time a team traded away a problematic star player and saw great success . Congratulations Nationals , well done .

Sanchez, Sherzer and Staussberg were nearly flawless, the Nats deserved this trip to the WS

As a life-long Red Sox fan I'm walking around in a Washington Nationals cap. This was my pledge to my mother if her team every made it to the show. She's called to ensure I'm doing so. :lol3

Hey Yanks, you can make a living all year beating up on weak pitching. Then you face a team with a solid staff.......when you gonna learn?
(Think of the pitching you might have if you didn’t sink all that money into Mr. Sore Quad....idiots)

The Astros are starting to swing the bat now , they are gonna be almost impossible to beat . I lost a long time friend in 2013 who grew up in Houston , he was a diehard 'Stros fan , I like to think he is somewhere watching his team .

The Nats were swinging a a hot bat with just as good if not better of pitching. Did they cool off? Who would you pick between the Nats and Stro's? The Astro's have been there before if that makes a difference.

It's gonna be a damn good series if the stros keep going like they are.
