That was an epic rally. As a SF Giants fan, I was surprised that Melancon got the Cards out in the 9th. He hasn't done much of that these last two years.

Yankees fan here. For some reason, itfelt like the Twinkies were more successful against the Yankees this year - turns out they weren't. ;)

But I know how you feel - i need to look up the numbers, but it felt like Anaheim was the Yankees personal house of horrors for a decade.

Sure, pitching is important. And a couple horses having great games can carry you. But a couple crazy batters locked in can carry you too. look at the 2011 Phillies, 2014 Tigers, all the great Atlanta teams in the 90s for great pitchers that didn't exactly have a large set of rings.

Heck, look at last year's Astros vs the Red Sox.

Yesterday's Cardinal win was awesome. It's shaping up to be an exciting post season.

It really is, you can feel the gravity of every pitch. Nats/Dodgers game 5 is gonna be great!

    This Tampa-Houston game is AMAZING.

They're finally looking like the Devil Rays they are.

Got Verlander on the ropes. He'd pitched 57 pitches at the end of the second inning.

The play of Altuve getting thrown out at home was all time.

    Choi is a new favorite.

Moves pretty damn good for a roly-poly fat boy!

His two, nearly identical plays at first will be highlights.

What a game! See ya Dodgers... After the slam, the team just gave up. So did the fans.

Yes. The fair weather fans fleeing the stadium seconds after the grand slam was pathetic.

Cards / Nats in the NLCS. No one saw that coming. Cards won 5 of 7 against the Nats in the regular season. Just sayin'
